The Royal Elephant Hotel & Conference Centre is a passionate and romantic creation – an endeavour that reveals and celebrates the multitude of traditions, history and splendour of the North Africa and Morocco.

The hotel proudly boasts with 40 luxurious rooms, two family suites, an executive and presidential suite. State of the art conference & meeting facilities cater for up to 450 delegates in a supreme and technologically advanced conference centre including the refurbished Bondev House. These guest facilities are served by the exclusive Zagora Grill Room, Wine Cellar, Cigar Lounge, Oasis Residents Bar and the Fezorati Coffee Emporium.

The hotel proudly boasts with 38 luxurious rooms, two family suites, as well as a honeymoon and presidential suite–all individually decorated using traditional Moroccan & North African furnishings and antiques. Each guest room adds to the secret journey with its uniquely evocative Moroccan name. Amenities, furniture and decoration have all been carefully chosen to enrich your experience, from the ornamental lanterns above the beds, to the spacious, earthy washrooms.

2 Family suite: Family Suites is two separate rooms: 1 bedroom with queen bed, and 1 bedroom with two twin beds with a lounge and en-suite bathroom (shower, bath and toilet) in between.

Dinning

Royal Elephant cuisine is a medley of Moroccan, International and African cuisine. At her restaurants and bars guests are treated to centuries’ of interaction between Morocco and world cuisines and drinks, under the direction of celebrated Executive Chef, Andrew Hammond.

The cooks in the royal kitchens of Fez, Meknes, Marrakesh, Rabat and Tetouan refined Moroccan cuisine over the centuries and created the basis for what is known as Moroccan cuisine today. You can enjoy this symphony of tastes at the Zagora Grill Room, Wine Cellar & Cigar Lounge, Fezorati Coffee Emporium, and Oasis Residents Bar.

Andrew Hammond is an award-winning chef who has represented South Africa at the World Culinary Cup and American Culinary Classics bringing home two gold and two silver medals respectively. Hammond who prides himself in having 22 years experience in a cross-section of cuisine, trained at the Wits Hotel School before embarking on a career that has taken him from the kitchens of some great African hotels such as the Cape Grace, Lord Charles and Rosebank Hotel.
