The accommodation at Jozini Tiger Lodge consists of 60 bedrooms accommodating 162 persons with 36 Classic standard bedrooms, 21 Family Loft bedrooms and 3 Deluxe Suites.

The rooms offer unsurpassed comfort and luxury with breathtaking views overlooking the picture perfect Lake Jozini. All rooms at the lodge are fully air conditioned and are en-suite with both bath and shower facilities.

Other amenities include a tea and coffee station, safes, satellite television and a mini bar fridge which is stocked on request. Our well appointed Family Lofts have a upstairs bedroom with twin beds to accommodate the family within the same bedroom.

Jozini Tiger Lodge also caters for large conferences and weddings which can accommodate up to 250 delegates or guests within the conference centre. Together with this we also offer a boardroom and two other breakaway rooms all aptly named after the local tribal families governing our local area.

Weddings at Jozini Tiger Lodge are something special with numerous options to make this a special occasion. These include open air ceremonies either in the bush, around the swimming pool or on the sunset boat cruiser. Our beautiful surroundings and with the lake as a back drop this makes an ideal venue to tie the knot.

Fishing
The Tiger fishing tournament in October draws anglers from around the world. This is South Africa’s own Kariba. Lake Jozini in the Pongola Game Reserve is the most Southern lake where tigerfish are endemic. Although widespread and still common in certain areas like the Pongola river, tigerfish are declining in most rivers due to pollution, water extraction and obstructions like weirs and dams that prevent their passage up or downstream to suitable spawning sites along flooded river banks and lake shores. The Tiger Fish is one of the most exciting fresh water gamefish and catching tiger fish will have your adrenalin flowing. Recognised by the bluish sheen on its back, a series of parallel longitudinal black stripes, intensive yellow to blood red fins with trailing black edges and a series of 8 large, protruding, sharply pointed teeth. From the novice fisherman to the expert anglers fishing with a fly, Lake Jozini offers you the ideal location for tigerfishing of a lifetime.

Game Viewing
Jozini Tiger Lodge is a 1 hour drive to Sodwana Bay, Umfolozi, Mhuze and Ndumo Game Reserves. Pongolapoort Reserve on the eastern shore is home to 4 of the Big 5, 350 species of bird life, crocodiles and hippos.

Other Activities
Tiger lodge is surrounded by a wealth of attractions which include some of KwaZulu Natal’s most pristine game reserves and parks, some of the world’s best coral reefs are also nearby in the Maputaland marine reserve. At Jozini Tiger Lodge there is also every opportunity to relax in the lap of luxury.
