Hilton Country Estate & Spa is a majestic, fifty acre estate situated in the serene Midlands town of Hilton. It boasts colonial homes and garden cottages, set amidst vast flowing lawns and towering trees with a 180 degree view overlooking the city of Pietermaritzburg.
Rooms
With five double bedrooms in the main house and two cosy cottages, we are able to accommodate sixteen guests on our beautiful estate. The main house offers exquisite rooms with lavishly furnished, shared lounges and reception areas, whilst the cottages cater for those in need of a little private space. All accommodation is a stone's throw away from our luxurious spa.
LUXURY ROOM 1
The most spacious room in the house is a fusion of classic and modern elements complemented by a full Italian Travertine en suite bathroom boasting an exquisite large glass shower. The large windows on both sides of this corner room flood the space with daylight and the beautiful garden views make it a welcome retreat at the end of the day. The room is equipped with DSTV and DVD player.
LUXURY ROOM 2
This intimate room with a luxurious Italian Travertine en suite bathroom, opens onto a classic veranda with panoramic views over Pietermaritzburg.
LUXURY ROOM 3
This spacious room moves you through time as it boasts a grand antique four-poster bed and furniture, with a large Italian Travertine en suite bathroom. French doors open onto a veranda offering breathtaking views of the rolling green lawns and the city of Pietermaritzburg below.

LIFE SUITE 1
This historical garden suite, with carefully selected vintage furniture, has two en suite bedrooms with its own lounge. It is an ideal retreat for friends or family wishing to share accommodation during their stay on the Estate and is equipped with DSTV.
LIFE SUITE 2
The opulent and luxurious PRESIDENTIAL SUITE of the Estate boasts a floating bed in the centre of a room adorned with abundant silk dressed pillows. This stunning suite is enhanced by an exquisite Italian Travertine en suite bathroom, its own fireplace and secluded veranda. This medley of extravagance is a perfect romantic getaway for two. The suite is equipped with DSTV and a DVD player.
Conferencing
The business conferencing facilities are regularly used by local and national companies, finding the environment an ideal retreat for focus, fun or relaxation. Ten minutes from Pietermaritzburg, forty-five minutes from Durban and four and a half hours from Johannesburg, the Hilton Country Estate & Spa conference centre offers both local and national businesses an ideal private, professional and personalized getaway.
VENUE
The lavish, air-conditioned conference room comes standard with DSTV, surround sound, video and data projection facilities. Additional equipment can be arranged in advance if required.
