This hotel is fresh, superbly designed and a breath of fresh air in terms of design. It is an inviting place and full of energy. A meeting place for the young, and not so famous - the Canary Wharf of South Africa. Rooms

All 83 rooms are designer decorated. Stunning views over the Indian Ocean and harbour. Every aspect of room amenities and décor has been considered. Very urban design.

The bedrooms at the hotel have been designed to cater for the business traveller with all the required technology on site. Bathrooms only have expansive showers with large shower heads. Thirteen Television channels can be found in every bedroom. .

Conferencing

Three large Conference venues will be able to host smallish groups in the mid-twenties to large conferences and banquets able to seat up to 300 delegates and guests.

Weddings

Docklands Hotels situated in the new Point development area and near to ushaka marine world is the perfect venue for a wedding. This hotel is a combination of urban chic with classical victorian design. The facade evokes memories of old time harbour side homes but the interior is contemporary. The function room is large and holds up to 500 people but can also be arranged to suit smaller numbers.

A gorgeous covered courtyard with couches surrounding a water feature, gives guests a perfect spot to wait for the bridal party. Bespoke menus are created by the fabulous chef teams and any culinary tastes can be catered for.

The function room can be transported into any design one wishes for and several design and decor suppliers work with the team at Docklands to create the perfect space in the style the couple desire. There are of course benefits to this hotel- there is plenty of parking and over 80 rooms for accommodation if guests need to stay over.

The beach is minutes away, where every imaginable water and beach sport is accessible.

Restaurants are also numerous at uShaka Marine World where a hotel shuttle bus is available for transportation.

A recent addition to the beachfront offering is the city bus services offering a very reduced fare on modern buses from Suncoast casino to uShaka Marine World every twenty minutes which allows all our guests to experience the entire Durban beachfront offering as often as they wish.
