• 54 deluxe suites – one and a half bedrooms, bathroom, kitchenette, lounge/dining area(Accommodates up to three adults)

• 36 studios – one bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, lounge/dining area and dressing area.

Each room offers the following facilities:

Conferencing

Life Hotels – OR Tambo offers two conference rooms, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

Terminal 1, seat up to 80 delegate and Terminal 2 up to 60 delegates, cinema style.

The best staff and hotel in Johannesburg South Africa !

The Hotel and its Staff are wonderful ! The Hotel is very clean and the staff will go out of there way to make sure that everything is right for you. People this is a really nice Hotel and Food Buffets are great too. Everything is very positive about this hotel and I can't wait to go back.

Friendly/polite/helpful staff, very near to OR Tambo airport, more like an apartment than a hotel so good for families(2 bedrooms, kitchen&lounge), good breakfast, free WIFI

Stayed here for one night when we were in transit through Johannesburg, so chose it because it was reasonably priced and near the airport. Exceptional value for what it was, we selected the cheapest option on booking.com but somehow ended up with a 2 bedroom suite so were very happy! Food was also delicious, plus there's a neighbouring 4star hotel from the same company just across the road where you can also order meals on your room tab if you want even more selection. Also the basic business centre with PC, internet and printer was free of charge. Highly recommended all round :-)

The hotel is much better than I thought, having been to JHB & SA for the first time, the hotel gives a very good image to the JHB city. In spite of what is said about JHB, I felt safe at the hotel, free ride to the fast-train station and to airport, and even to a shopping mall! Staff are very punctual, and responsive. They are very patient showing me how to use the safe, how to use the train etc. The internet is the fastest ever that I experienced in Africa. I was there only two days, but I would definitely choose Life Hotel again next time to JHB, and will certainly recommend it to friends (in fact, I have already to one in the US). The chef is excellent!

Great hotel for layovers and such. Staff was very friendly, helpful over the phone when i needed them, and the hotel was clean and safe. We had a long layover coming from Atlanta, GA to Port Elizabeth, and decided to stay the night to get a fresh start in the AM. Staff was helpful in confirming my Hotels.com reservation as well as arranging the shuttle pickup. Shuttle picks you up at Joberg Airport, and is only a few minutes away from the hotel. Airport Porter got us to the right place to wait for the shuttle (was worth the $3 tip). We reserved a 1 bd, twin beds, and when we checked in, they had us in a 1 bd, single queen bed. They told us when we checked in, if the room had a single bed, to just call down and they would send someone to split the beds. Instead, they just moved us to a 2 bedroom unit. Perfect! Breakfast was great. Plenty to choose from. Would stay here again with my family, we felt that safe. Life Hotel "The Aviator" is right across the street as well. That looked really nice as well as is related to Life Hotels.
